Brickell Ave Condos
Brickell is a community located in Miami and Brickell real estate has grown by the development of some luxury condo buildings. Brickell which is located in the southeastern portion of downtown Miami, was once dominated by financial institutions and high-rise office buildings. New Brickell condo buildings and other neighborhood amenities were built over the past years. New shops, fine restaurants and entertainment centers have opened up amid the new Brickell luxury condominium buildings.
The vision for the city of Brickell is a community in which residents are walking distance from all the conveniences, from supermarkets to fine arts performances. To creat a walking around environment on the sidewalks and give the community a lively feel, several high-rise condominium buildings have cafés and shops at the street level.
Approximately 5,000 people live in the Brickell area, and the population consists mainly of young professionals, international business people, downtown administrative personnel and 'empty-nesters.' Brickell attractions include the Miami Convention Center, River Walk, Bayside Marketplace, the Performing Arts Center of Greater Miami and the Metro-Dade Cultural Center. The cultural center includes a library, historical museum and the Center for Fine Arts. Students in grades K-12 attend schools of the Dade County School District. Several colleges and universities - including the University of Miami - provide higher education in the area. Brickell real estate consists of single-family detached homes, estate properties, condominiums and townhouses.
